Western Sahara (MINURSO): Action on Armed Violence (AOAV)/ Mechem demining teams in Western Sahara 'lend their legs' in commemoration of International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action on 4 April 2013.

South Sudan: Affiliates of international organizations working to eliminate landmines take part in a “Lend Your Leg” event, and roll up their pants leg in solidarity with landmine victims. This is the second year to see the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action (4 April) marked by “Lend Your Leg” activities across the globe. South Sudan: UNMISS Japanese Engineering Contingent ‘lending their legs’ in preparation for the International Day for Mine Awareness on 4 April. The ‘Lend Your Leg’ campaign raises mine awareness by asking individuals to roll up their pant legs on the Day in solidarity with landmine victims.
